Spring Equinox + Full Moon in Libra

First things first — hey babes! I know, I know… it’s been a serious hot minute since the last time I posted something on this page. You guys, life has been so intensely busy (in a very good way) and I’m just over here trying real hard to keep my head above water and find some damn balance. On another note, welcome to my new and improved “Cosmic" Sybs” tab / page or whatever you call it. I decided (I planned for this actually) I wanted to start this back up on the Astrological New Year (tomorrow ) — woohoo! So grab your calendars and journals and let me know what you think.

March 20th - Spring Equinox

Okay, but are you ready for a new beginning? A clean slate? On Wednesday, March 20th 4:48 PM CT the Sun will be directly in line with the Equator, giving us equal day and equal night. This will mark the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Fall in the Southern. The Spring Equinox is ushered in by Aries, followed by Taurus, then Gemini. Enjoy the days being longer, the newness of things, the love, and growth.

March 20th - Full Moon in Libra

This full moon is in sweet Libra, the sign of balance, partnership, and commitment. This full moon will encourage us to find balance. What are things that bring you into balance? What are things that bring you out? Finding balance is hard, believe me, I know… I’m currently experiencing this. The past two months have been so insanely wild (good things, all good things) for me and all I’ve been talking about and yearning for is balance. So I’m continuously asking myself what I need to bring in that balances me out and what do I need to let go of that immediately takes me out of balance.

This full moon is also going to giving us the opportunity to look at our relationship to forgiveness. And I know, forgiveness looks differently to us all, but the way I see it (pertaining to forgiveness during this season) is how we view forgiveness towards ourselves. This full moon will be sitting in with the arrival of Aries season aka: the sign of self, the individual, taking action. So when I look at the two — full moon in Libra and Aries season — I see it as forgiving ourselves, and boy is forgiving ourselves a hard thing to do, amirite?

For example (on balancing things): the full moon will be in my fourth house (the house of roots, home, family, emotions, mother, self-care, women) — so not only have I been thinking about these things, I have been trying to find ways to balance these things out. I currently have a lot on my plate (another post for another day) and I am trying so hard to balance my roots, my home life, and my emotions. I also know there are some possibly exciting new changes for us, too. Do you know where the full moon will land in your chart? If not, shoot me a message and lets talk.

** Fun Fact: In January I pulled the Earthworm from my Wild Unknown Deck and at first was so annoyed by it…then I read the meaning behind this card. It made sense — perfect sense. I was (and still am in so many ways) in the beginning stages of some really new and fun things in my life and I found myself getting frustrated because I wasn’t where I wanted to be, and to be honest — I am in the same place now. I’m still in the beginning stages or starting new things (or other personal family stuff). So this being a Full Worm Moon is pretty dang cool to see two months after pulling my Earthworm card — little, fun reminders.

March 20th - Sun in Aries

The sun will officially be in Aries for the next month — prepare for impulsivity, passion, drive, and enthusiasm. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac (Astrological New Year), an energy that brings a sense of self-interest — physical vessel and self. Aries energy can be very impulsive; be mindful of new projects you may want to start, especially if you know these are projects you will not finish. Aries is all about drive and initiation — use this energy to light a fire under the things that you are passionate about, or maybe start that thing you always wanted to start up but didn’t know exactly when to do it.

March 20th - Chiron conjuncts Aries

Chiron enters Aries completing a 50 year cycle. Chiron (for those who may not know) is an asteroid known as the wounded healer. Now, this does not mean our wounds are weak or something to turn away from. Chiron encourages us to hold space for ourselves and our wounds and to find strength in them.

My Chiron / Aries sun will be in my eleventh house (house of social groups, friends, humanitarian) and what’s so wild to me (cue in the eye rolls haha) is that I feel like I have been having this tug to finally heal in old social circles / friends (and maybe even current social circles).

March 26th - Venus enters Pisces

Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune — deeply intuitive, a lot of emotions, empaths, illusions. Venus, the planet of love and beauty, enters in this water sign. Here we have this amazing opportunity to reflect on love, and not just on the romantical side love but allll the love. Lines can be blurred (Pisces / Neptune bring in illusion), so setting boundaries and intuitively listening to what the universe is bringing to you.

March 28th — Mercury Direct

Aye! Throw the confetti out y’all — Mercury is direct. This means you guys made it — we made it. Take in all those things you had to reevaluate, revisit on, rethink, or whatever re you needed to do — take it all in and move forward and practice what you learned.

March 31st — Mars enters Gemini

Mars is the planet of action and assertion and Gemini is curious and communicative. So don’t be surprised if your energy is scattered around and you feel like you can’t get a foothold on things — be patient. Find ways to ground yourself during this airy but fiery energy.
